The main building - Malsis Hall - is grade two listed as of 1984 having been built in an 'Italian Style' in the 1860's as a residence for James Lund, worsted spinner and manufacturer of North Beck Mills, Keighley. The building was sold to the preparatory school in 1920. The school closed in 2014 after numbers dwindled to just 80 and they ran out of cash. The actual grounds are pretty expansive and included 3 km mountain bike trail, 9-hole golf course, swimming pool, rifle range and 40 acres of grounds. By the sounds of it the site will be turned into residential homes and the hall itself will become a care home.

Bumped into two other explorers on the way to this one and spent a several hours wandering around the building. I recently acquired a full frame camera so this was a great place to test it out properly, turns out I need a tripod.
