Thankyou to Mr Paul Powers and Stranton for kindly divulging the info about visiting Megatron and porter brook.
Meeting up with Georgie, Telf, Lenston, Wombat and Juju we found ourselves entering the Porter Brook tributary and working our way into Megatron, I was really pleased to finally see Megatron and had a brilliant day in the company of some Megatrontastic Dudes All of this on top of some lovely victorian brickwork, splendid was an understatement.
Some History
Even before the thirteenth century the river Sheaf drove the industrial wheels of Sheffield and was culverted and diverted to suit the needs of the mills and steel factories, In 1860 the Midland railway company purchased the rights to build the railway station straddling the river and so enclosing the water course.

Entering at Porter Brook, we started to work our way up towards Megatron, being true gentlemen we made Juju lead the way incase of any deep sections
Regrouping before heading toward megatron
soon enough we were in the area of the Railway station and could hear the choo choo trains kerplunking above our heads, this section seemed to be some sort of a meeting of the tributaries.

At various points we could see daylight filtering through the roof along some of the sections, like this piled access, this was a 30 second exposure and that is my fat head in the shadows.
It was arches and steps all the way
The 20 millionth arch way shot from this place
plenty of debris in some sections
Thanks for looking
