First of all apologies if this is posted in the wrong place etc, I'm still very new to this site and I need a bit more time getting my head around it.
This was more of a chilled out derp after spending last week knee deep in gunk in drains with Pomm and KM_Punk, which we will hopefully be revisiting next week as my dumb ass left my camera in another town. The sewers and drains were incredibly beautiful (can you even call a sewer that??) and despite soggy feet and bad smells, it was one heck of an adventure.
After failing to spot a way to get into Dunlop, myself and trash_witch noticed this place a few roads down. I need my dose of derelict environments (sorry mommy abandoned buildings call) and while this place wasn't particularly impressive, It was better than nothing.
Could't find any history on this, although I doubt it was notable regardless, just a small air con factory, before they located to a different place.
It was a quiet time in the week with no people except some guys smoking weed round the back, but this was their regular hang out and they didn't care for us hoping into the place for some shots. They did infact inform us that there were workers waddling around, and they think the place is being converted into offices. We however thought flats or something along the lines, judging by how many showers were being built. We were also aware that the bottom floor was still in use by some indie clothing company, and thus the mass amount of echoing pigeons had us a bit on edge while exploring the lower floors. The place is pretty much stripped empty, however with the blown out windows and the setting sun streaming through, it gave off a beautiful environment.
Photos took with my phone, please forgive, then yet again this isn't a photography website. I'm rather pleased with the reflecting roof top shots. It was a easy, relaxed evening.
Cheers for looking!
