1968 Closure

Just outside Blackburn, up a very wet and windy hill, the post has been capped and has a memorial plaque attached giving a very sketchy explanation of the ROC and the purpose of the posts. No access underground.

Some very wet, fed up looking sheep live here now

Stunning views though and a trig point and Year 2000 tower thing stands nearby.

Sorry to bump an old thread, has anyone FSM Cam'd this one? I had a search on here but couldn't find a thead. I may have to have a trek over with a cheapo digital camera.
