I was in Melton today and on the way home stopped by Holwell Mineral Mine then while driving down a single track road back to the main road passed some bushes and had a flashback... dropped the car in reverse and sure enough there was still and ROC post there!
My last visit was 16 years ago and had dropped a small camera on some string down the FSM i can't seem to find any of those pictures now but it was full of plastic piping with the hatch and ladder missing missing, surface features structure looks to be in the same condition and theres now a hatch.
Opened in 1959 and closed in 1968.
