North Tyneside Recovery Partnership/Metro Tyres, Wallsend. Built in 1956 as a Royal Mail Sorting office, and since at least 2015 was the home of the North Tyneside Recovery Partnership which was used to rehabilitate young people from the age of 18 who were battling Drink and Drug addiction. The Service closed in October 2020 as a fire in the Metro Tyres yard to the back of the building which made the building unusable. This place was a sketchy one and I ended up getting shredded by broken glass, but was surprisingly clean with minimal vandalism and graffiti. Clearly the copper thieves have been in on the upper floor but there was still a fair bit left behind. Enjoy
