Well it was a permission visit, but one of those ones where photos aren't allowed 
So I took some photos anyway.

There is currently no production happening on site. Thats one of the reasons no photos were allowed. They didn't want anyone to see the production lines empty! The new MG6 cars are for Avis and are plated and ready to go. Production of the Diesel MG6 starts the end of the year and is supposidly one of the reasons there is no production as they are re-tooling the production line.
The flight shed is almost down, and building work has started on the already flattened parts of the factory, i.e. East Works. Apparently the tunnels are still intact and not back filled but never went to have a look.
Have to say they run a clean ship, place was spotless! However it's just mothballed with only the Sales Centre that seems to have staff!
