Report - Midland Hotel, Manchester, June 2016

Built between 1898 & 1903 by the Midland railway company,
designed by Charles Trubshaw.
opened on 5th September 1903 as the Midland hotel,
primarily for the central station (1st July 1880 - 5th May 1969) now G - Mex.
The outside consists of red brick terrocotta façade & white brick courtyard
while the inside consists of original ceilings & walls.
The hotel is grade 2* listed

Good work! No joy with this one when we were kicking in Manchester. Always fancied it.

And has for the explore well a bloody fluke is what it was. we where just about giving up lol. Then with stranton saying i quote " It could be any of these doors etc Anywhere. Literally it could be anywhere " I am not joking within seconds of him saying that bam we where on roof. You could not have timed it better lmao. PURE LUCK... But heck was worth it. Even the roof has an active gardener with personal lift lol. EPIC. Was a great time. And @tweek has you have said in past you just got to keep trying and sooner or later it will present itself. Deffo worked here. Palace tower next me thinks especially after mmmm 10 or so tries lol. Thanks stranton for a decent trip .
