Yooooo,
This filmset was insane! Before i start i want to say it's only externals purely because all doors were locked. I plan to revisit though and try my luck again. I've looked at this place for a very long time and finally gave it a whirl with 5 others. I say it for a lot of places but this one was genuinely the best and most interesting explore!!
History
The Manor house, originally named Barrow Hills was built in 1853 and after purchase by the Ministry of Supply in 1952 it was used as an Officers Mess. In 2004 it was purchased by a consortium headed by Crest Nicholson PLC. It has since been used for a number of well known film and TV dramas. It is currently being used for Call The Midwife.

Not an easy one but depends how you go about it. We were really lucky to not get caught by security until we'd finished. Security hut is directly behind it, which i imagine they patrol 24/7. I was so overwhelmed by how amazimg the site was and i will 100% be going back. So much to see and the filmset was just phenomenal. Wasn't caught by security until we tried our luck with the Millennium Falcon towards the end, which FYI isn't on the premises anymore so don't bother. I think because we were quite stealthy we were really lucky not to be caught but up to you if you want to try...
Enjoy the pictures
