Friday was back to the old school for me. Millennium mills and West Park. Myself and Turkey had cracked the mills back in 2005, when only Jondoe and Dave and Joe (for those of you who remember the days when those guys were top of the game) had ever been in the mighty mills. With a wing and a prayer we made it inside, but the photos taken on a 2004 canon ixus, which had less pixels than my 40 quid nokia did not cut the mustard by todays standards...
So at 6am Myself and Turk found ourselves in the mills once again. After all the hundreds of buildings I have seen since our last visit, I am still blown away by the scale and contents of the place. After enjoying sunrise over Canary wharf and the dome, we headed down floor by floor, seeing many things I had missed on my previous visits
I still rate Spiller's Millennium mills as one Britains best exploring locations...
