After a busy day of exploring this was a nice way to finish the day off. Cool little excursion done a few times during the day but a totally different experience after dark. The stadium was completed in 2002 taking only 14 months to construct and was the first design of its kind in the UK (If my research is correct haha) with a total capacity of 26,000 people. There was plans to increase this capacity by another 10,000 but the council rejected the club owners off to buy the stadium off them.
