More Gas Holders in the news

Normally at the bottom end of my news feed as I only signed up to troll a while back, The Guardian have done a bit on Gas. Nothing particularly groundbreaking or even new in this article, but it serves as a timely reminder that they're disappearing rapidly & get on them while you still can

In 2013, though, National Grid announced plans to demolish a total of 76 gas holders across England, and Southern and Scottish Gas networks followed suit with their proposal to get rid of 111 over the next 16 years.

Didn't realise Scotland had so many to be honest.

There was loads of smaller ones up there in almost every town at one point. I'm not sure they're leaving any up there tbh unless they're listed, but even that probably won't mean much eventually.
