Spent most of last week off sick with man flu and so by Saturday i was desperate to get out and get some fresh air ! So of i went to Napsbury Hostipal, i'd see reports before so new it was going to be a bit of a mess but its always nice to see some good old long corridors and flaking painted walls! When i got there i bumped into Bauhausgirl who was just finishing up ( nice to meet you bhg)! Didn't spend to much time there as it was freezing and i was still recovering from man flu which is why i probably forgot to take any external pics. It was a nice little explore though and still worth a trip up there!
Some history
Napsbury Asylum was founded in 1898 for patients from Middlesex. There was room for 1200 patients which increased to 1800 by 1908! The hospital became The County Of Middlesex War Hospital during WW1. The hospital closed in 1998 and with most building being converted!
