Explored with CatVStyle, Dweeb, Turkey and Squirell911.
There's a bit of history on other reports but I can't find anything authoritative that I'd like to quote.
Access was interesting but you take your choice... it's either a bit of pain or risk being spotted.
In the old engine room...
Outside it really is like stepping back in time, I could imagine the men, women and trucks working away here...
There are two chimneys...
Both chimneys...
This was a toilet block. I took the picture because I thought it was of a rather hefty construction. It's only when I looked at the pictures at home that I realised it's just a thin cladding...
Chimney in the sun...
The labs...
Admin was a nice surprise, I was surprised it was this intact given the rest of the site is a bit of a ruin...
There are three acid-etched windows, I'm surprised they have survived at all. Images edited, cropped, inverted and merged into one...
From admin we went back into the works...
and then we went for a climb and a dodgy walk...
From up here you could see every tile has been removed...
Then pretty much a regroup and off to the various needle-pit mills of Bradford for the day.
All in all a good explore, thanks to everyone involved.
