For the background on this machine search 'dragline' on here as its been done before, or wikipedia has a good description of how it works. but basically it excavates by dragging a big bucket, but more impressively is this things size (although there use to be a bigger one there) and the fact that it walks! (or use to at least) anyway I was in Leeds for the weekend so grabbed my Dad's camera (long exposure) and paid it a visit.
