Drove past here one afternoon to see what was left of the place, which turned out to be the one remaining building. At first, I just wanted a wander up to take in the views from the roof, but ended up mooching about the rest of the building too.
All stripped inside as you can imagine it would be, but if anything, its worth a visit for a chill-out time on the roof.... i could have spent all afternoon up there.
The newer section is still very much live... a lot of activity was happening there, so Im not sure what the future holds for this place, although i did try asking the locals.
The rest of the site has been demolished, but the one building left still makes for a nice stroll about, albeit perhaps not at "tourist-o-clock" on a busy weekend...trying to wait for a break in traffic/dog-walkers/police vans/students and york tour buses.... Fun times
