Newbie wanting tips and places to visit!

Hi all! New to exploring abandoned and interesting sites! I live in derby and looking for places to visit, we went to oakhurst house the other week and got the bug!!! Looking at maybe visiting rauceby asylum this weekend and wondered if anyone could point us in the direction of any other sites around us? Thanks

After looking at the Noteworthy Resports and generally reading others you'll have an idea of the way things run. There's also a sticky guide about posting reports.
Posting a few reports and being actively involved on the board are the way to let everyone know your interests and level of experience (especially as your nickname suggests you might have a youngster along). Until then people will be hesitant about meeting.
There are also occasional meets at a local/national level. These are primarily social but they are what people make of them

The admin team are only a post away (see link at bottom of pages) if you have other questions abouit the board or the way it runs.
