This seems a very strange and somewhat surprising move given the council finally ended a 7 year court battle with the owners. The last word was the CPO would be completed and passed onto the NWH Trust would would oversee its redevelopment

Such a shame, I suspect whomever purchases would nuke the inside rebuild and keep the outside. Looks lovely but then its in North Wales Denbigshire in the middle of nowhere so hardly likely to draw folk for a pretty penny.

Apparently they dropped the price after the auction, then put it back up again for some odd reason.

If i was the owners, I'd just sell it to the highest bidder, if they carry on as they are the CPO is just going to take it off their hands and leave them with nothing, they have probably already made a fortune when they asset stripped it, may as well get an extra couple of million to top it off.
