This is my first post to the site so I'm glad it's my favourite type of urbex, the high climbs. There's a special place in my heart for the magic feeling you get as you sit there in peace above it all.
After a short walk around the base of the site we found an out of the way corner that seemingly was being used as a urinal. Sacrifices were made however as it proved the easiest point of entry. A quick scramble over the wall and we were in. Unfortunately then it was a good 40 floor slog of steep steps (I hope I'm never in this building when the lift breaks).
Interestingly at the top there was a veritable maze of scaffolding and ladders but eventually we reached the top. This site has great views over the River Thames and of Canary Wharf and is the closest climbable building to them (Just out of curiosity has anyone roofed any of the Canary Wharf buildings? I'd be impressed).
Gotta get those all important selfies in.
To the East
So close yet so far
Glad to gave shared this with you all. Hope to be posting more soon as there's much more exploring to be done.
Cheers for checking it out.
