Hello everyone!
A few weeks ago I visited Portugal.
You would see old and fallen apart buildings everywhere, but most of them where close to beeing completely destroyed. So i was very happy when I found this old hotel, which was still in a solid state.
It consisted of two parts / buildings: in the first and smaller building was a bar and kitchen and in the second and bigge building was the main hotel.
There was still a lot of stuff lying around in both buildings, like an old coffee machine or old mattresses and furniture. So everything that wasnt scavanged yet
My highlight was the file room, where everything was full with old books and old files of people that visited 40 to 30 years ago.
After reading through some of the files i figured out that it was an old luxury hotel where a fire broke out around 30 years ago. My guess is that it was to expensive to destroy so now its just left there to fall aparty by itself in the middle of a little town.
All in all this was a very nice first experience in a lost place and im looking forward to visit more!
