Me and Aisforandy went to recce a few places up in Orrell on Friday. Didn't manage access to any so headed over to Edge Hall Road, former ground of the once great Orrell Rugby Union. They played their last ever game there 2 weeks ago before having to move out and play on the local college playing fields due to being fucked over financially by those 2 cretins Dave Whelan and Maurice Lindsey. They bought the club a few years ago, sold off all their training pitches to developers and then give their clubhouse over to Wigan Warriors to use as a training complex. Then they sold the club and left Orrell in the shit with no clubhouse or training pitches and unable to afford the rent on their own ground.
