The first of two quarries under the centre of Paris this weekend.
During a phone call just minutes before going into the GRS, we were informed that the 16th District was open, an unusual occurrence as it's only open one or two days a year if you're lucky, and today our luck was in. Ten minutes later some maps were delivered to us, and an hour later we met Rug, our French friend, who knew where it was on the ground.

Access was difficult and tricky, but we did it.

Although I was glad to be there, I was a bit disappointed at the state of the place. It was quite trashed, even the cinema steps had been kicked about.
