Pegasus Yachts
So after a pleasant morning of geekgasms and sexwee's a plenty at a model railway exhibition, just up the road and a failed visit to a rotor bunker due to a collapsed coastal path, we found ourselves in a no so sunny and bloody cold Lowestoft. After mooching around for a bit and laughing at the yocals from 'over the boarder' we ended up in one of the finest eateries from the eighties and Lowestoft's most up to diner! While enjoying a (probably) horse and cow burger with fries, I found myself reading the previous weeks news paper. Again the most up to date here! After the first few pages of stories about cats being rescued from trees, old grannies with toes stuck in the bath taps and old boys with flat batteris in their mobility scooters holding up the traffic I stumbled across a story about this old boat yard having planning permission for new homes and moorings etc. So with the day running out fast we decided to pop by even if it was just total derp.
Very little history to be found, except that they once made such classic broads yachts such as the following;
