Visited with Gabe, Seffy and Grit.
The construction of the two towers here is in the early stages. It will consist of the Peninsula Tower which will be a luxury 23 storey apartment building. Adjacent will be a hotel called the InterContinental London The O2, which will be a 19 storey 5 star hotel consisting of 452 rooms. These are due to be completed in 2015.
We did this in the early hours after checking it out during a busy time at the O2, must of been a big event on, X factor related judging by the screens. There were still staff outside cleaning, patrolling, recycling, smoking etc. Nonetheless we went for it and were glad with the views up top. By the time we left it was pretty much daylight. Only realised afterwards that I didn't take that many photos.
