This place has been on my radar for a good few years but never got round to it until the other day something irrelevant landed me in the car park of this place so I gave it a look. Think I'm a few years too late as it's a proper derp but thought it would be interesting to show how ruined this place is.
The location itself is in a well to do part of Merseyside. On the grounds, there is Pinetops health club, Shorrocks Hill night club, active horse stables and behind it is an outdoor activity centre paintball etc. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to check out the night club but it was accessible, access was extremely simple which probably explains the condition.
This place was originally a house built back in 1853 by Dr Richard Formby. The house in 1968.

Mr Universe bodybuilder Terry Phillips bought the site in the 1990s, until he went bust and it was purchased by the Ascot Group for £4M in 2007. The nightclub closed in 2015 and so did the health club according to companies house.
I've got a vague memory of when I was a kid visiting here which lead to my interest in visiting the site. When this place was a nightclub it offered under 18s nights which I remember being popular back when I was in high school around 2013-2014.

Back in its prime, date unknown.
Anyway onto the photos. I apologise about the quality was rushed for time and it was extremely dark inside.
Shorrocks Hill nightclub painted pink.
