After a combination of Google maps, local knowledge and scouting out we, BGA - Badger and I, decided to give it a whirl.
Established as a cable factory in 1921 it became the a major work place for many local people. In 2002 the the original cable factory closed and was taken over by another. Six years down the line the company closed its Hampshire factory and headed back to its original country of origin. Now the site has been announced to become a housing estate.
This was one of my most interesting Urbexs so far, in respect of security and access. A great day out!
