History
Plastmo Profiles Limited was formed in Denmark, sometime in the 1960’s, specialising in vinyl guttering services and PVC windows. They moved to the UK in the 1980’s and became a major player within the UK PVCu building plastics sector. In 2007 they turned over £22m, but then in 2008 things went drastically wrong. A combination of tough market conditions, a rise in the cost of raw materials and the 2008 banking crisis caused the company to suddenly drastically decline. In March 2008 Eurocell bought out Plastmo Profiles, safeguarding 150 jobs, but causing the Moulton park headquarters to close.

Solo mooch. I was passing by in the area as I work about a street away and after seeing report by Trav had decided to call in have a look. I am always on the look-out for new explores in Northampton, but never knew this place even existed. Not an awful lot remains of the trading days of Plastmo, the site has become a tagging Heaven for the local youth and the suffered lots of unnecessary damage, leaving long derpy corridors. Everywhere you walk is covered in broken shards of glass and fire extinguishers have been thrown through the top windows.
