The best urbex trips are spontaneous trips. On our last trip to Budapest, we found an interesting palace in the city center. Actually, it looked like a palace or maybe a tenement house. We knew nothing about it. We noticed only the logo "Postabank" and we realized that the building is abandoned. We didn't hesitate to visit this place, especially that the doors were open. Inside we found office rooms and... the bunker! It was quite interesting, so we checked the story of this place. The former restaurant was transformed into a bank which worked until 2002. The most memorable moment in bank history was a giant queue when people were afraid of inflation due to crisis and they wanted to deposit their valuables in the bank as quickly as possible. Today it's a pretty abandoned building with a nice story. Enjoy the photos from the abandoned Postabank.
