Last one lol. Part 3 of my trilogy of Powergen takes us into the depths of the buildings.
Iv not seen many pictures from this bit , not sure why cause i found it really interesting. Some of the stuff down there sent me on a frenzy taking pics, iv not seen anything like it personally. Many on here probably have but for me it was a first.
There was huge tanks that reminded me of an air ship, 11000 volt warnings , the strangest coloured water flooding the lower section. "Tunnels" running between the buildings with massive safe doors (locked of course, 1 had some bricks missing above the door but id have never got back out ) more safes dotted around , oh and a bar below the canteen. All that below an innocent looking office block.
The only thing that would point to anything else being even lower underground was the solitary lift located deep in the "tunnel" next to 3 big safe doors. It didnt appear to be in the right place to be one of the 3 lifts on all the other floors and i couldnt find another motor room . It also had an up and down button.
On with the pics then, and sorry in advance for the amount of them, but as i said iv not seen much from this part here on 28dl so hope no one takes offence :-)

Id have used a stick to see how deep it was but i recon itd have melted .
Theres loads more, far too many to post here.
All in all, a really good explore. Glad i got to do it in the end, was worried in never manage it.
Got to shout out @plod, @Buffalo and @DdotMC for the memories and also out to everyone who was there on our third visit, far too many to mention.
If you go here, its changing daily now that work has started, be bloody careful. I know its obvious really but in some parts you have to watch the floor and the ceiling at the same time , youll trip or lose an eye otherwise.
If you managed to get to this point without falling asleep or thinking "not this place again", i applaud you .
Thanx again for looking .
