Report - Preston barracks June 2013

Visited back in June with a non member, actually a tourist sight seeing places that no other guide shows you. Apologies for the poor quality photos. I am still trying to figure out how to use the flash without any natural light. Most of the rooms were empty apart from bird crap. Word of warning to anyone to anyone who is planning on visiting - make sure the doors don't shut on you as at least one of the doors up stairs is missing the door handle on the inside making it tricky to get back out to say the least!

Can't find an awful lot of info on it other than Preston Barracks was formally owned by the Ministry of Defence, and bought by Brighton and Hove City Council in 2002. Since then it's been left to rot as with everything with this council.

Yeah I went here last week! the main building is being used now! I tried getting into the building next to the main entrance, but I had no luck, I saw a broken window on the 2nd floor but could get up there without any help.
