Welcome to Puits Simon (pronounced Pooowitz Saiimhon) which of course instigated choruses of the whole of Simon & Garfunkel's back catalogue to swim round my head the entire time we were here. I've got to say, I thought it was going to be a bit pants from the outside but it actually turned out to be really lovely, especially with the sun coming in through the windows.
It's a coal mine (obvs) with a bonus control room, headstocks and a huge room of those classic beautiful cages hanging down from the ceiling. Those cages seem to work in the same way as headphones and balls of wool. They like to tangle up into eachother when you look away for just a second.
