Pumping Station..?
I guess I should start this report by telling you that I'm not too sure what this place is. Situated next to a pond, it contains a brick shed, a hatch containing a small hole & pipe, and some sort of gantry/crane-type setup with another small hole & pipe underneath.
I posed the question on Facebook, here are a few of the guesses:

- Borehole pump
- Water / sewage treatment
- Something to do with compressing
- Pumping system
Basically, who knows? Any ideas would be appreciated

Arrangement of the site, hatch is just to the right & the pond is behind
And one last one, inside the shed...
