Just a few pictures and a little history of the Quaker Oats factory in southall as it stands in feb 2019.

One of the most successful ventures in the southall area belonged to Quaker Oats, which built a factory in Southall in 1936.

Part of the operation was sold to Spiller's in 1994 and the remainder to Big Bear Group in 2006. The site is still standing to this day. The last thing to produced on this site was popular cereals like Sugar Puffs.

No not yet but a lot of film crew on site at the moment

Is this up to date? Just went there last Sunday. Lots of security. Got through the fence and into a building, only to find myself locked in a basement lol

I took these photos just last week I found a way beyond the locked basement and the hole you climbed through to reach it

Got chased out of here a while back by security with an off-lead German Sheppard. Played it out as being "trainspotters"
