Renaissance Hotel, Manchester - October 2012
Visited with fishbrain
Not much to say about this other than it is a 4-star hotel on Deansgate that has eluded many over the last few years. Chilled up here one evening with fishy having seen it pop up from some of the other lads. Keeping it in non-public so it can get some love and affection from some more locals, even if Renaissance now welcomes explorers...
The building itself is a bulky slab of brutalism. Not by any means the highest around, perhaps only 15 floors, but certainly some great views looking in all directions to be had, and a really nice roofspace.
Thanks to fishbrain for the gorgeous ale he provided.
