Part 2 of the mill site.

This time mostly the boiler house. I liked the way the steel lagging sheets were coming away on the decaying boiler like a strange metal animal shedding its skin.
Colours and plant life made it all the better........though wasn't so happy about the Asbestos everywhere!

Hi Syncro, Great pics! I went had a look as its 2-3 miles from where we are. Comments from some mentioned redevelopment so I took some photos 17 July 2021 to keep people updated. I've added some streetview pics for reference.

As you can see building is still in progress but some houses are occupied already. The council map has been updated but some more houses are now completed but not on the map. Note the Mill wheel on the gateway to the private house at Kites Nest Lane

Sorry for the delay in replying, only just seen this now! Thanks for sharing, i'm surprised its taken so long to get it redeveloped! Very interesting.
