This has been done a few times on here but thought it would make a good first report and it's the first place we revisited with a proper camera.
History - Designed by the architectural practice of Bradshaw, Gass & Hope this brick and Portland stone building was opened in 1957. Following amalgamation of forces within Greater Manchester in 1974 it continued to operate as the GMP Salford Division Headquarters until its closure. It was originally the headquarters of Salford City Police and C.I.D Division and, later, Greater Manchester Police Salford Division, before closing for good in 2008 .
Explore - We did the explore over 2 trips due to the size of the place and time constraints. Access was easy once we found it, there's a lot of evidence of rough sleepers. Really enjoyable explore.
