History:
The first time this old grand castle got mentioned in history was all the way back in medieval times. During this time, this castle was in the hands of a wealthy royal family. There were even multiple wars fought over the land surrounding this castle. In the 1600s the castle was hit with a plague and a fire which meant the financial situation was worsening, At this time the family had to sell the castle to a wealthy business man. The business man decided to demolish the old ramshackle medieval castle and rebuild it with a brand new castle. This structure is the current one which is still standing to this day. After the new castle was finished, it changed owners many times. In the 1930s a writer was the inhabitant of the grand property. The bizarre thing is though that this writer was one of Hitler's favorite writers due that he was the author of many anti-semitic books. When the Third Reich began to crumble, he decided to sign a promise to Hitler him self. This promise was that he would kill himself if the Nazi regime would finally fall. A couple of weeks later he hanged himself in the grand castle.
Nowadays the castle is completely abandoned and in a pretty bad state. But even in this bad state the former details could still be witnessed.
