With us all being new to roof-topping and high stuff we decided to make the best of a bleak day and head down to Manchester to get our heads for heights at River Street. This concrete skeleton built in 2005 was first constructed with the aims of it becoming an apartment complex but still sits unfinished today. The first company to start building this tower went into liquidation. In 2011 Chelmer Developments acquired the site and in 2012 permission was granted to demolish the incomplete structure.
