It has been a long time since I have posted anything so here we go... I moved to Norway around 3 years ago, bought a fresh pair of waders over a year ago and finally put them on this evening!! This is a steady culvert, although fast flowing. It was great to get back underground again. Luckily the virus lock down in Norway isn't as strict as in the UK so I can get out and about a bit!
I walked from the outfall up to the grilled infall, which doesn't have access without popping lids. I realised at this point that one of the adjustment arms from my tripod was missing / had fallen off. I had no idea if it was in the water, at home, or elsewhere. I could only take photos in portrait and it really wasn't stable. I was a bit pissed off to say the least, having not explored for years and really looking forward to it before hand.
Amazingly, walking down the culvert from this shot, I saw the tripod arm in the water - I couldn't believe it ! I was a happy boy indeed, so carried on taking pics, working my back down towards the outfall...
Maybe in another 5 years I will post something again.
Ok bye
