Hello everyone, recently visited the Rosary Road chalk mines with pawelR and a non member.
underground is not usually my thing, but as it was another boring Saturday i thought i would try something new. was a nice chilled out explore that was completed by a train journey home looking like a tramp that has just been attacked by chalk. anyway on with the photos, be warned they are all pretty terrible as i decided to take my little cheepo tripod, that decided it did not want to cooperate, so i had to improvise using flash, which i know really isnt your thing around here. hopefully pawelR will add some photos as his were alot better. also big thanks to norfolkexplorer for giving me the details
starting to get narrow..
One of the many slopes
someones been staying here
where to go?..
looking towards the light
small archway
probably the tallest part of the tunnel
bunk bed
sorry they all turned out terrible, but im deffo going for a return sometime.
thanks for looking
