Visisted with Gibbo, Lawrence, Andyj23uk, Gage, Bigjobs and Littlejobs after the mersey tunnel trip the other night but my internets been playing up so i havent been able to post until now.
The Royal Insurance Building, Dale Street, Liverpool, England was built between 1897-1903. The architect was J. Francis Doyle. It is a Grade II* listed building. The building's steel frame structure may have been the first such steel frame in the UK. It is finished with an Edwardian Baroque façade of granite and Portland stone.
Id been wanting to do this place for a while now and despite only really having a very quick look round rather than the extended tour i would have liked i certainly wasnt dissapointed by this building and will certainly be going for a revisit.
