The closed pavillion of the Säter asylum was opened in 1912 and had 27 beds for the criminally insane. It was closed in 1989 and been abandoned ever since. It is very closely sealed and can only be visited by climbing the 7 meter wall surrounding the yard. I was there alone for a look, and several people have previously been stuck on the inside, so I will have to do those photos when spring comes and I find suitable company.
