Another straggler report from my trip up to the Midlands earlier this month. I've only just had the chance to upload the photos so here they are! Something this mint shouldn't be left like it is but it seems the people who are supposed to be looking after it aren't doing a very good job. The only other one I've seen of its kind is Crossness, only on a much larger scale.
If at some point this place is going to be restored fully, I can see it looking great with the similar red and green jazzy paint job like Crossness but to be honest, I'm not holding my breath.
Anyway, we got in and out fine with no problems and were soon whizzing to the next site on the list. If you are in the area, I'd strongly urge any folks to poke their nose in here as it really is fantabulous
