Something completely new to me, which didn't go down well whilst I was there. My first climb of something that isn't a fence!
As far as I know, this is the first report of it (unless Xan beats me to it...)
THE INFO
The viaduct around the Mersey tunnel approach in Birkenhead is being built to relieve traffic strain on traffic around the Tunnels and the area near Birkenhead Central Station. The scaffolding runs almost the whole length of a bridge span that crosses a road and an old railway tunnel approach (I've yet to upload that report, it seems.) The roads that approach the viaduct are closed, however many motorists don't understand three "Road Closed" signs and a diversion warning with a large arrow.
THE PICTURES
Apologies if some are a little blurry, my finepix decided to die after 3 pictures, so greenie took over!
