Report - Scarborough leisure centre Jan 2022

Im affraid im struggling to find much history on the place. It closed down in 2017 due to building a new sports village for the town. It is to be demolished along with the water park opposite, which has already gone.

The place was in great condition considering it has been closed for 5 years in a town centre. Lots of swim related items, office paper work all still there, wage slips, the office was still full of computers (the one room that was a mess).

Wasn't being rude at all. You're local to it but you'd rather someone else does the legwork for you, most people here myself included have travelled hours out of our way to get somewhere and find it freshly sealed, it's part of doing what we do.
