Well well well...Found out about this place a month or so ago but the first attempt was a failure due to waist high snow and crazy minus temperatures. We set off for Dundee shopping centre and turned right and there we were!! It was quite a walk in but well worth it.
I really dont know much history im afraid but i think it closed in the late 70's or early 80's. It was my first proper mine and was definately NOT a dissapointment
