Apologies for this being posted so late after the pictures have been taken. I haven't been sure if this is report worthy as there's very little left of the site and not much to see really, but ultimately I decided that something is better than nothing.
Across from the main gate there was a camp, probably of travelling people, with a couple sat in a car parked outside. This was the point at which I felt the most uneasy, once past the gate it was just a pleasant walk up the hill.
It was sad to see the mountains of litter covering a large area behind the gate, as well as the state in which the site is. What hasn't been stolen burned down instead, leaving some charred remains, bits of slope base, and a bobsleigh track which we accidentally stumbled upon on our way out. The views from the top of the hill were worth the climb however.
