So.........here goes, my first report 
I visited this site very recently and found it by chance as i didn't even know the place had closed down.
I was in the Parkwood area of Sheffield to take some photos (just general stuff) and noticed that the Ski Village gates were closed, then on looking again noticed that the lodge was gone (WTF!) I got out of the car to view the devastated scene.
I'd only been on site (in my high viz coat) for about 10 mins when a van pulled up and the guy shouted 'so they've finally got some security on have they?'
On chatting to the guy it turned out that he had been an instructor prior to it closing. He then proceeded to give me a guided tour (a member of 28DL I think? Cheers Mate).
The place is pretty devastated what the pikies haven't taken the chaves have destroyed.
