So after stating in my last report that I had a backlog of things I wanted to post it seems my icloud has had a little clear out with itself when I got a new phone, so unfortunately I seem to have lost a lot of photos. Fingers crossed I can get them back and get some more reports up.
Not so long ago myself and Tammi decided to check out this place. Ive seen it done before but not in a long time so thought it might be cool to check out. Unfortunately most of this place has been burned to the ground. Its littered with tyres and the whole upper floor which I am assuming were the offices have completely gone.
None the less even is its bad state it was still one of the eeriest and saddest places I think I have ever set foot inside. I couldn't imagine this place in full working order.

History
I don't have a huge amount of history on this place and a google search doesn't bring up too much but I will tell you what I can.
This slaughter house processed 500,000 lambs a year, 40% of Scotlands total. It specialised in lamb which was one of the main reasons for its closure as it is seasonal in Scotland.
The plant closed in 2005 with over 80 job loses. The site was to be maintained until it was sold but as you can see from these pictures that is not the case.
Massive, creepy, dark fridges.
Unfortunately lots of fire damage present here.
Tammi seen her first ever thistle.
More evidence of fire damage.
Thank you for reading and once again this is my second report and im using my phone camera so i apologize for the quality. I have invested in a torch for future exploring.
Hopefully will get some more places ive been to recently up soon and have a week off next week to go exploring further afield so will have some stuff up from that.
