Located at the city borders of a former garrison city, the soviet school is abandoned since 1992 or 1993. The most russian soldiers left Germany between 1992 and 1994, so I guess the building must be in decay since then.
It was built during first world war as an officers' mess for one of the many nearby barracks. After WW2, the property was occupied by the red army who reused the building as a school. The former ballroom was transformed into a gym.
